The notice went out in the paper - so I guess I had better post the event here. Yappy Hour will begin May 4th and continue through the year. It will be the first Friday of every month, from 5-8 pm.
Yappy Hour will be our monthly get together - to have fellow dog lovers stop by with their dogs and get to know one another. We have had several requests from dog owners to get to know other dog owners of the same breed they have.
Each breed has it own health, socialization and grooming issues. Everyone has questions about which vet do you use, what shampoo or food do you feed your dog…so we are going to gather all the resources everyone provides us and each other.
We have had requests for having get togethers at the park with the same breed. To have social time with the same breeds and not have to worry about mixing big dog and little dog together. This is an opportunity for people to arrange those meetings.
The largest request is to find local breeders and rescue groups - so they can either breed their dog or get another dog as a companion for their dog. We have some first time dog owners that want to meet the large variety of dogs that come to our shop.
So…mark it on your calendar…we will be mailing out a newsletter shortly to remind everyone to come on down and enjoy the refreshments and fellow dog lovers.
